However, we have found that the price factor can either be less or more relevant depending on your budget and how invested you are with your vehicle. In terms of effectiveness and durability, we take into account that we are a mobile auto detailing service in Orange County Ca which means that some products' performance will deteriorate due to direct sunlight exposure during the summer months. As a general rule of thumb, if you are in direct sunlight, you want to work in smaller sections and try to not let the product dry as that can lead to a residual stain. Shine Supply's Clean 'n Shine is an all in one mild cleaner and conditioner for interior car detailing. This works great for vehicles that are relatively clean and don't require strong chemicals to get a crisp looking interior. For example, after our initial interior detail, where we disinfect your vinyl and plastic with a steam cleanse, you could use this product to wipe off any minor food or drink spill that may happen in between our services. Simply spray on a clean microfiber towel and wipe the desired area. Keep in mind that this won't remove heavy stains from upholstery. If that is something you have, we offer our full interior detailing service which addresses those pesky stains.
Optimum's No Rinse Wash and Wax can be used to quickly touch up any spot on your vehicle's exterior. Since it has wax incorporated into the solution, you get a product that will not only clean but will also leave behind a layer of protection. This means that, for example, if we were to service your vehicle with any of our exterior detailing services, and debris happens to fall onto your newly detailed exterior, then you would not be stripping away the protective sealant we applied. You would instead be removing the debris while simultaneously leaving behind a layer of wax on top of the sealant we applied. Simply pour some product and water into a spray bottle to a dilution of 4:1, and you have a reliable solution for on the go. You can choose to either spray directly onto the affected area, or opt to spray on a microfiber towel instead. Spraying onto a microfiber towel will decrease any overspray you might get if you were to spray directly onto a surface.
Gyeon's Q2M Glass Cleaner is a fantastic product that will give you crystal clear windows and mirrors. Couple this with dedicated high quality glass towels, and the correct technique, to leave any glass surface clean, clear, and streak free. To clean mirrors just spray a small amount onto a section of a clean glass towel, wipe glass surface, then use a clean and dry part of the towel to dry the glass surface as well as remove any dirt. This method reduces the likelihood of leaving behind any streaks because you did not oversaturate the towel, which would leave behind too much product on the glass, and you took an extra step by drying the surface to pick up any dirt or product that was left behind. The causes for streaking on glass are dirty towels, using too much product, or not drying the glass after it was cleaned. To clean windows you want to use the same method, but this time you want to wipe horizontally on one side of the glass and vertically on the opposite side. This will allow you to see which side of the glass streaks are visible.
Gyeon's Q2M WetCoat is our favorite sealant for it's quick application and amazing hydrophobic properties. This sealant continues to impress us with its durability and gloss it provides. The application is as simple as spraying on a washed and wet exterior surface and rinsing off. We have found, through trial and error, that this sealant continues to protect vehicles for 6 months if they are properly washed and maintained during that duration. This is our go to sealant in our mini details and maintenance details to top off the initial layer of protection we previously applied.
Jescar's Ultra Lock Sealant gives vehicles an extremely rich and glossy appearance. It gets machine applied, as opposed to our spray sealants in our mini detail services, which ensures an even coverage. With proper maintenance of a vehicle you can expect this sealant to protect your vehicle for 6-8 months. This is our go to sealant for our clay and seal service which is a step up from our mini detail service.
Gyeon's Q2M CanCoat is easily one of the best all around starter ceramic coatings. It is very user friendly and cost efficient for what the product offers in terms of durability. With proper maintenance, this ceramic coating will definitely offer protection for 1 year. Before applying any ceramic coating you will need to decontaminate and either enhance or correct your paint. These steps are important in order to allow the Sio2 particles to bond to the paint as best they can. We are a full detailing service which means we will hand wash, clay bar (decontaminate), enhance or correct, and apply a ceramic coating at your convenience by coming to you. Keep in mind that after an application of a ceramic coating, you will need to let the coating cure for 72 hours. This allows the coating to harden on top of the clear coat.
Adam's Polishes Graphene Ceramic Coating is our 5+ year ceramic coating. What we love about this coating is that it is not limited to just paint application. It can be applied to most surfaces of your vehicle's exterior. Superior protection against the elements and the perfect option for anyone looking to keep their vehicle protected and looking incredibly glossy for years to come.
Kirkland Signature's Ultra Plush Microfiber Towels are great for interior car detailing as well as minor touch ups on the exterior such as on wheels, tires, and plastic trim. However, we recommend using higher quality microfiber towels on your vehicle's paint and glass. The reasoning behind this is that, while you might get a glass surface clean with these, you will find that they catch and leave behind lint after you are done. In the case of paint, higher quality towels reduce the risk of scratching and swirling clear coat because they are much more soft and plush.
The Rag Company's Diamond Weave Glass Towel is our preferred dedicated glass towel. The diamond texture design allows for a much smoother glide across glass surfaces allowing the user to efficiently clean glass in a timely manner. We use dedicated glass towels to not leave behind any lint on glass surfaces resulting in a better finished product.
Maxshine's Coral Velvet Edge Microfiber Towel is great for any kind of touch ups on your vehicle's painted surfaces. The premium build quality eliminates any worries of introducing any scratches or swirls. These super soft and plush towels make for an enjoyable experience when detailing car exteriors.
Lily Brush's Pet Hair Detailer is incredibly efficient at removing any kind of hair out of carpet fibers. This is a great little tool that easily fits in any compartment in your car or in your home. Removing hair out of carpet fibers is not a really difficult task, but it can definitely be a tedious job. Which is why we offer this pet hair removal service to eliminate that work load off of you.
